OVER 750 MILLION
Young people live in Asia and the Pacific.
More than 60% of the world’s adolescents and young people call this region home. This extraordinary generation represents an immense opportunity and an urgent calling to build relationships, share the hope of Jesus Christ, and invest in the next generation of leaders.
Across the Asia-Pacific Rim, an estimated 4.2% of the population are identified as Bible-believing Christians, highlighting the tremendous need for Gospel-centered outreach. For millions of children and teenagers, opportunities to hear about Jesus, experience Christian community, and grow in faith remain limited.
Behind every statistic is a young person with a story, a future, and God-given purpose.
Breakaway Asia exists to help bridge that gap through meaningful relationships, sports and English programs, cross-cultural partnerships, and opportunities for young people to discover Jesus Christ and grow as His disciples.
OUR HISTORY
A Legacy of Reaching Young People Since 1995
Founded in 1995, Breakaway Outreach has grown from a local youth ministry into an international mission network with a presence in more than 17 countries. For over three decades, our calling has remained the same: reaching young people for Christ, empowering children facing hardship, developing next-generation leaders, and equipping communities to foster hope and restoration.
Breakaway Asia builds on this legacy by developing relationships with local churches, missionaries, schools, and community partners throughout Asia and the Pacific. Through sports ministries, English enrichment programs, youth camps, leadership training, and cross-cultural mission opportunities, we seek to strengthen local ministry efforts and create meaningful pathways for young people to encounter Jesus and grow in their faith.
Our methods may cross cultures and borders, but our mission remains the same: reaching young people, building lasting relationships, and investing in lives that will influence generations to come.
